Testimonials
“From the moment I met Leah Ross-Kugler I knew I was in the right hands. Leah has the rare attribute of being both kind and knowledgable. She also has the ability to make you feel like the most important person she has ever worked with. After vocal fold surgery to remove polyps, I required rehabilitation. Leah assured me that if I made the commitment to attend my weekly session and worked diligently on utilizing the skills that she imparted to me, that I would have positive results.
The results were spectacular. I believe that my speaking voice and my singing voice are better than before I had the vocal polyps that significantly impeded my ability to speak and sing. I am a teacher as well as a singer and I was splitting my time in between recording and performing. And my voice is still in fantastic condition.
To this day I still use many techniques Leah shared with me. And not only did Leah utilize scientifically tested methods and programs but she tailored them to my needs and situations. In fact, when I was unable to slow my rate of speech down (one of the issues that caused problems), she came up with some out-of-the-box solutions that I use to this day. I honestly attribute my continued vocal health to the care I received as Leah’s patient. I have recommended Leah to many people and they all agree that we are the lucky ones!”

“I recently had the pleasure of studying voice with Leah Ross-Kugler, MS CCC SLP, voice teacher and therapist. I am beyond thrilled with the experience and results. I was hesitant to return to singing after Covid, as my voice had deteriorated. Ms. Ross-Kugler’s guidance helped me to recover my confidence with practical vocal techniques; clear, constructive feedback and vocal hygiene recommendations. These were specifically tailored to my needs and resulted in improving my vocal control and range. Her patience and enthusiasm helped me return to singing in a concert chorale!”

“Leah provided me with reassurance and speech therapy at a time when vocal cord dysfunction was completely derailing my life and left me anxious and afraid that I would never breathe comfortably again. After meeting with her just a few times, I learned exercises to help me combat scary symptoms and breathe easy once again. I could not recommend Leah more for anyone who needs a speech pathologist to help them overcome any disorders.”
Patrick, VCD patient
“I can’t thank Leah enough for her incredible help in overcoming muscle tension dysphonia just before my big tour. As a professional singer, I was facing a real vocal crisis, and Leah gave me the personalized care and attention I desperately needed. Her expertise, patience, and understanding truly made a difference, allowing me to heal and feel confident with my voice again. I’m so grateful for her support and highly recommend Leah to anyone needing help with their vocal health.”

“Our ENT recommended Leah Ross-Kugler for our teen son who is a singer and performer. He had nodules, vocal cord swelling, and was in the middle of his voice changing. He as pretty much hoarse on a daily basis, which was a huge problem considering his Broadway dreams! I believe our ENT’s words were something along the lines of, ‘You can go with someone else, but if you really want results, call Leah.’
Boy, was he right. Leah met with Ben and gave him an incredibly thorough evaluation. She then began working with him on a weekly basis. Ben learned strategies and techniques to take care of his voice and now, years later, still utilizes what he learned.
Leah’s bedside manner was also fantastic as Ben struggled with anxiety surrounding his vocal issues that she also helped him manage. Today, Ben is able to perform in multiple shows at a time, attend daily rehearsals and even (albeit slightly against Leah’s recommendations) belt in the shower without issues. We are eternally grateful and HIGHLY recommend her!!”
